From November through December 2018, I had a show up at the multicultural Madison Square Christian Reformed Church, 1441 Madison Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
The painting on the right is entitled, “The Word Became Flesh and Moved Into the Neighborhood,” from the MSG Version of John 1:14. It won an Oakton Foundation award in 2017.

2017: I am honored to have a piece of artwork selected for the Artprize Spring Collector’s Show. My piece was created in sepia chalk and oil pastel, on coated colored paper. It is entitled, “Assisi Morning.”

Opening July 6, 2016, I will have a solo exhibition at the Postma Education Center, on the campus of Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, 300-68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49501. This education center is a lovely space with adjoining outdoor courtyards, and is also where I lead worship services twice a month.
My painting entitled, “Creation Groans,” was exhibited during ArtPrize 2015. This event occurred in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan from Sept. 23 to Oct. 11, 2015. Please see a detail from this image below.
